My Latest Obsession
Due to the newest revival of comeback trends (thanks again JB), shoulder pads are one of my new favourite things. They deliver such an ambiance that demands respect. It is such a power tool. Authoritative, without breaking the ego systematic behavior reach beyond it's true elegance.

A designer is not praised for the knowledge of things. It is the passion, the creativity, and above all, the individuality that the ARTIST brings to the piece. Here, designer Todd Lynn broke down the barriers. These are not my favourite pieces, but I find them so powerful, which most definitely deserves a mention.

Partner In Crime
I want to dedicate this post to J.B Feliciano who has honestly been the biggest help to me since this whole transition. I love you partner in crime, thanks a bunch .
Sleek and Chic

As all the fashion insiders may well know by know, this term of fashion trends is the 1950's/1960's collision with modern style. Tailored suits for women, fedora's, shoulder pads, and all that represents a high social class. Tan is out girls, and pale, chalky, milky skin with the pouncing juicy red lips are back in. Yes, I had to give a shout out to all my fellow pale girls! (For as long as I could remember I was always made fun of for not being able to tan!). We're looking for that colour that just seems to contrast with your skin tone so much it looks gorgeous. No more corsets, hoodies, club wear tops now. Be sleek and chic, BUY YOURSELF SOME CLASS !

Say hello

I fell in love with this silk one shoulder drape dress from Mirit Weinstock, (courtesy of pixiemarket.com, thanks diane le!). This is simplicity at it's greatest. The colour is admirable - almost immediately attracting your attention. Coral really does compliment any skin colour. What i like most about this dress is the drape design that elongates your neck line. It's a dress that highlights even more attributes you may have never thought you had. Silence will fall in the room as soon as you step in with this on, delivering it's stand of pure elegance.. It retails for about 395$. In my opnion, definately worth it.

Those who want to make a statement in it's simplest form, I offer some suggestions. I was just searching around, and really, One shoulder dresses can be your best friend or worst enemy ! Definately a lot cheaper, but unfortunately this is as close as i've found for a cheaper price in 10 minutes lol ! Enjoy !

Because I want to stay cute
If I've learned anything from this, it would be to simply be you. I spent so much time listening to other people, worried about what other people would think or say, I haven't seen my own potential. It's one of the worst feelings to doubt yourself. You probably heard this a hundred million times, well I'll tell you a hundred million and one more time. Don't be the understatement. Follow your own rules, and just do whatever it is that makes you happy. You do you, and I will most certainly do me..

Much thanks to Patricia Estrella for showing me Fred Flare. Just because it's not designer, doesn't mean it ain't hot! After all, some of the most stylish and trendy people shop at value village and thrift stores. What is being cute? Just a force of attraction that would make your heart melt. I found some things on this site, that i would actually buy for myself, and do plan to. The rich colour of the coat brings out anything on you. It's simply gorgeous. The flats have a certain intricacy to it that would draw my attention towards it. Heres a a boyfriend blazer that I like a lot, without the outrageous price retail stores offer now. And the necklace? Just makes me feel like it's going to take me places. I love a piece that brings you somewhere else just by wearing it. Without a doubt, I'd wear these choices with the confidence it deserves to be worn with.

Something I Forgot .

I came across this collection awhile back in June, and decided it's something that i should feautue. Interested in something trendy? These are my favourite outfits from Phillip Lim's 2009 spring collection. It is the ideal urbanized look for the modern trends. The use of neutral, flat colours brings out a soft fabricated city image. The look seems so natural. Bring on some more of that lace!

Absoulutely Beautiful

Appearing in countless affiliated runways, one of Michael Kor's featured items are these super hot, super fly strapped heels. These babies were made to make your legs look long and certainly luxerious. Retails for $900 +. Just another pair, in my opinion, to be added to the list of heels of the century. Think of one chic outfit these heels wouldn't go with. LOVE it !

Global Findings
I came across an accessory boutique called Tatty Devine. Many pieces are seriously affordable! Unfortunately, it resides in UK and as far as I know, they don't ship to Canada. They offer very fun accessories , although a little corky.. but then again, who wants to shut down a spontaneous statement? Here are some things I'd like to feature:

Eat These Words
I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they're right, you believe less so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
